Typical assigned reviews include Environmental and Greenway reviews to evaluate whether the development proposal has the least detrimental impact to inventoried resources and functional values, and that unavoidable impacts are mitigated.Work includes:

Conducting site visits and environmental impact evaluations,Identifying problems and assesses alternatives in the context of a specific development proposal,Soliciting and coordinating bureau and agency comments regarding specific development projects; andWriting legally defensible findings for judicial land-use reviews. These decisions may be final unless appealed to a higher authority/appeal body. In cases of appeals or where the City Planner II Environmental does not reputed company a final decision, they recommend approval or denial of judicial land use application through the preparation of a staff report and public hearing presentation to appeal bodies or City Council.
