Colossal Contracting, LLC is looking for a Senior Network Delivery Engineer that will sit remote but is comfortable with frequent travel to customer sites across the US. The Delivery Engineer will provide planning, design, configuration, deployment, and tier III network troubleshooting support to our government customers. In this role, the Delivery Engineer will ensure mission success by leveraging new and existing networking designs. They must be hands-on and will partake in aspects of planning, design, implementation, and deployment. They provide technical guidance to ensure the reputed company and future success of our customer’s mission. An ideal candidate will have at least a CCNP, ACP or equivalent OEM accreditation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support WLANs by performing and documenting wireless surveys.
• Support new high-reputed company WLAN controllers and install/configure routers, switches and AP’s over multiple locations in both CONUS and OCONUS sites.
• Will reputed company post-implementation validation surveys in order to optimize network performance.

• Communicate with customers and internal staff at regular intervals to ensure expectations are set and that appropriate attention is being paid to customer requests.

• Schedule and attend technical sales support teleconferences and work with sales and engineering team members to craft IT solutions
• Travel to customer sites for both pre/post sales technical engagements and deployments.
• Assist sales staff as needed with designing reputed company and future technologies.
• Build BOMs and configurations for Colossal sales staff and customers.
• Obtain and maintain certifications for vendor partnerships.
• Rack and stack equipment.
• Use Visio to help create network diagrams and customer documentation.
• Burn-in and test equipment as needed.

• 7-10 years reputed company networking support experience.
• 7-10 years troubleshooting reputed company/switch, wireless, data center issues.
• Experience with a wide range of network and performance management tools, reputed company tools and appliances, layer two technologies, wireless communications, cloud computing and telecommunications services and technologies is preferred
• Minimum of a CCNP and/or ACP.
• Previous experience supporting a Government and/or reputed company customer preferred.
• Self-driven and resourceful in achieving goals independently as well as in cooperation with others
• Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities
• Must be comfortable with frequent travel throughout the US.
• Ability to obtain a DoD reputed company clearance.

Travel Travel is required for this role. Generally, travel will occur three to four times a month and may last 2 to 5 days depending on the project. Frequency and length may fluctuate depending on project scope.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried position. Work hours may fluctuate pending access to customer sites.
