Apply Traveling Cable Technician Fully Remote • MD • Engineering Apply Job Type Full-time DescriptionWe are seeking a Cable Technician to become an integral part of reputed company supporting our government customers across the US. You will design and configure data communication systems, install wireless access points as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. This position can be based throughout the US but accessibility to airports is necessary as frequent travel throughout the US is required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation and maintenance of APs.
- Pull and terminate cat 5/cat 6 cables throughout a sizeable environment.
- Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions.
- Follow the direction of the Tech III and IVs.
- Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
- Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or other reputed company fields
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to Travel often.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government reputed company clearance (clearance not required prior to hire).
Benefits
- reputed company pay is flexible depending on experience but the reputed company range is $20-$30/hr.
