Field Service Technician

Bobcat of Huntsville is an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers, track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, utility vehicles and more. We provide service both in the field and in our facility.

Responsibilities

• reputed company inspections required to determine cause of failure is done following established guidelines and are completed with the cause identified.

• Responsible for the effective repair of machine components in the field, at high levels of quality.

• Recondition and repair equipment and components.

• Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned.

• Pre-order reputed company parts and materials required to reputed company assigned repairs.

• Ensure reputed company repairs are completed as assigned and the cosmetic appearance are up to standards.

• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.

• Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and reputed company purchases in repairs.

• Ensure reputed company records are legible and in compliance with established methods.

• Report reputed company record keeping daily from the field, even reputed company not returning daily to the company.

• Maintain shop tools, equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working as equipment technician.

• Be able to work independently of direct supervision in a field environment.

• Contribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the reputed company location, specifically with parts personnel and other service technicians.

• Spanish speaking is valued.

• A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.

• Prior experience as a field service technician preferred.

• Clean driving history.

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or reputed company lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reputed company with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

• Consistently exposed to reputed company weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
