Job Description: Application & Server Management- System administration of reputed company Jira Data Center and Confluence Data Center on RHEL
- Support and maintain SharePoint applications on Windows Server
- Execute patching, upgrades, backup/restore operations, and performance tuning
- Troubleshoot reputed company issues across OS, application, and cloud layers
- Support and maintain applications deployed in Azure and AWS, including serverless, virtual machine, and hybrid architectures
- reputed company resource provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Ensure cloud configurations adhere to FedRAMP reputed company and compliance controls
- Assist with automation, cost optimization, and performance improvements across cloud environments
- Support and maintain MS SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases
- reputed company routine database maintenance, backup/restore, performance tuning, and reputed company hardening
- Work with application teams to resolve database-reputed company issues and optimize queries
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Bitbucket
- Automate operational tasks through scripting and cloud-native tooling
- Collaborate with development and reputed company teams to ensure secure deployment workflows
- Implement and maintain reputed company best practices across cloud and on‑prem systems
- Work reputed company FedRAMP‑regulated environments, ensuring compliance with required controls
- Assist with vulnerability remediation, system hardening, logging, and monitoring
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and evidence gathering
- Track tasks and incidents in Jira
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and procedures in Confluence
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and evening/weekend deployments
Required Qualifications
- Preferred 3+ years - Experience supporting workloads in Azure and/or AWS
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and RHEL administration
- 2+ years - Hands‑on experience supporting SharePoint environments
- 4+ years - Experience managing and deploying Java application in Linux. Specific experience with Jira Data Center and Confluence Data Center is a plus
- Proficiency with MS SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Bamboo, Bitbucket)
- Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Understanding of network fundamentals, IAM, monitoring, and logging
- Experience working reputed company FedRAMP‑compliant or similar regulated environments
- Hands on creating CSRs, chaining certificates, and configure SSL off-loading
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization (reputed company, Podman, Kubernetes/reputed company/AKS)
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (Azure Functions, AWS reputed company)
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and reputed company baselines (CIS, DISA STIG, etc.)
- Exposure to ITIL frameworks (change/incident/problem management)

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs.
