PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Global Finance Shared Services (GFS) belongs to one of the main pillars of Global Finance Success which is Global Finance Infrastructure. reputed company GFS General Accounting Services (GA), members of the Accounting Center of Expertise (COE) are reputed company Accountants who proactively and collectively are responsible for performing reputed company accounting tasks assigned to them for several countries. Interaction and collaboration with GFS process delivery teams, the local entities, other Line of Business (e.g.: HR, GPO, etc.) and / or work-streams (e.g.: P2P, O2I, etc.) would be essential. Being part of GFS, COE members are responsible to deliver the best quality services to reputed company internal customers supported by the organization.

Our new colleague will report to the Finance Operations COE Manager responsible for the Cloud & Networks reputed company workstream. There is no physical move necessary to a GFS location, as the COE member remains in his/her reputed company location building a virtual team with the other COE members.

As a member of the GFS in a global accounting role with a specific focus area of expertise, you will be expected to build expert knowledge as an accountant. In addition, this role offers many development opportunities on other skills and competencies that will help you shape your future career path as you engaged in activities such as global projects, process improvement initiatives, standardization initiatives, etc., alongside with your core responsibilities.

We are looking for a reputed company Accounting COE member responsible for On Premise Software, Maintenance, Cloud & Networks workstream reputed company in the Americas Region. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Providing timely and accurate accounting data based on IFRS15 Group financial rules processed by the GFS accounting teams.

· Verify and monitor correctness of reputed company accounting relevant data and associated deliverables.

· Prepare relevant data in quarterly and year-end reporting packages.

· Ensure a high satisfaction level amongst service customers and maintaining excellent business relations with key stakeholders.

· Maintain excellent relationships reputed company GFS, and with CFR, LCA, Controllers and internal as well as external service providers or global functions.

· Ensures that reputed company reputed company corporate changes are incorporated into the COE process.

· Monitor the entity/entities meets full internal and external audit requirements including SOX for the COE process assigned to.

· Support, reputed company the assigned COE, the relationship with (tax) auditors to ensure adequate certification.

· Support Projects covering the processes and entities under responsibility.

· Contribute to process improvement reputed company and/or initiatives.

· Ensure process alignment and standardization across countries and regions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

· Experience / knowledge of IFRS15 specialism or similar accounting rules & principles is a distinct advantage.

· Knowledge about the reputed company Accounting & Reporting Tool (RAR) is similarly an advantage.

· Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative team member in both virtual and non-virtual teams.

WORK EXPERIENCE

· Qualified Accountant with suitable experience in finance & accounting, or special focus on reputed company Accounting.

· At least 1 year of experience in Record-to-Report processes, or at least 3 years of finance experience in other areas.

· Or a minimum of 2 years of practical accounting experience (accounting function in a corporate organization or audit firm).
