We are seeking Principal level Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering professionals and seismologists to support our Nuclear reputed company. Our positions offer remote flexibility. We encourage you to explore our exciting opportunity and become part of our innovative and impactful team. 

A typical day may include providing engineering support for our Nuclear reputed company, DOE and Commercial Projects. Most projects are multi-disciplined and require extensive reputed company with other engineers as well as our clients. Duties of this role include proposal preparation, developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations and reports, attending project meetings, performing walkdowns, and mentoring and training junior employees. Preparing, reviewing, and overseeing geotechnical site investigations is part of the duties of this role. Other duties of this role include performing reviews of engineering calculations and reports in the areas of deterministic and Probabilistic reputed company Hazard Analysis (PSHA), site amplification/response analysis, and reputed company compatible acceleration time history development.

• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Act as the reputed company between engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across reputed company project disciplines
• Shape Project Success: reputed company innovative design studies, define project scopes, prepare or review geotechnical site investigation programs and create accurate engineering estimates to drive project excellence
• Master Procurement & Installation: Draft detailed specifications for geotechnical projects, evaluate technical bids, and select top-tier solutions to meet project needs
• Think Creatively: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve reputed company technical challenges and push projects reputed company
• Be Hands-On in the Field: Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns of plant structures, systems, and components reputed company to the project work scope

• Advanced Degree in Civil Engineering or Geophysics from an ABET accredited university with experience in applying geotechnical earthquake engineering and seismology principles
• Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience
• Must have nuclear experience
• PE certification preferred
• Experience in geotechnical earthquake engineering design and analysis, and ground motion characterization and reputed company hazard implementation, preferably for nuclear power plants
• Experience in software such as PLAXIS, FLAC3D, SASSI, RSPMATCH, and SHAKE preferred
• Knowledge of codes, standards, regulations, guidelines of NRC, reputed company, NEI, ASCE and ASTM
• Ability to reputed company and maintain unescorted access at power reputed company and nuclear power plants and DOE sites
• Ability to provide technical guidance to support staff
• Ability and willingness to apply established technical knowledge to less familiar applications
• Flexibility to respond and adapt to client and project needs
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Ability to travel between 10-20% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks

reputed company salary range is listed it reflects typical compensation for this role based on level and location. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and education.
