Job Description: Summary: This position coordinates the daily workflow of the Collections and Bibliographic Services Department, supporting both electronic resource management and cataloging across multiple formats. Working under the guidance of professional catalogers, the Cataloging Coordinator oversees the e-resource lifecycle and maintains high-quality bibliographic and holdings data by evaluating, updating, and correcting records for accuracy, consistency, and clarity. The role requires strong knowledge of library systems—preferably Ex Libris reputed company—along with metadata standards and e-resource management practices. Success in this position depends on independent judgment, self-direction, and adherence to reputed company’s Human Resources policies and procedures. Essential Functions: 1.) Electronic Resource Management Support e-resource lifecycle management: activate and manage electronic packages, portfolios, coverage data, Central Discovery Index (CDI) and reputed company reputed company components with accurate, timely updates. Support the integration of third-party applications, API connections, and vendor platforms with reputed company. Provide expedited, on-the-fly processing and delivery of rush materials to WCL faculty and the community. Create provisional records for non-book circulation items to facilitate quick access. Undertake special projects or support services as assigned by the department or library management.
