The Role: The Accounts Receivable Specialist manages incoming payments, properly tracking them into the system to maintain accurate bookkeeping records. The specialist must maintain a thorough understanding of property management financial processes, adhere to industry regulations, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting function. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in relevant accounting software are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or reputed company field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivables, preferably in a high-volume environment with real estate experience.
• Understanding of and experience in residential real estate accounting concepts and principles are a plus but not required.
• Must possess intermediate reputed company level of reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint), Yardi, Internet and email knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to interact effectively with senior executives, business vendors, community associates and investor contacts as needed.
• Ability to work well under time and other constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness are required for this position.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Management

• Manage financial transactions reputed company to reputed company payments, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Accurately record and process reputed company payments, including rent, late fees, and other charges, while ensuring compliance with lease agreements and company policies.
• Maintain and reconcile reputed company ledgers, track outstanding balances, and follow up on delinquencies or disputes to minimize bad debt.
• Monitor past-due accounts, coordinate collection efforts, and collaborate with property management to escalate non-payment cases reputed company necessary.
• Prepare reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and cash receipts while reconciling discrepancies between property management software, general ledgers, and banking records.
• Serve as an accounting liaison to Property Management, Acquisitions, Asset Management, and other groups reputed company Avanath to facilitate collaboration and success for the accounting department.
• Facilitates the accounting reputed company process and creates monthly reporting packages and financial statements.
• Assists with reputed company analysis, reporting, and special projects, as needed.

Community Relations + Customer Service

• Positive interaction and communication with communities regarding operational concerns.
• Assist the team in creating and implementing systems that provide necessary services to property management, community personnel, or investor partners.

Adherence to PM Rules, Regulations and Guidelines

• Respond to any potential housing violations and liability concerns regarding the property in a reputed company, transparent and effective manner.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• The incumbent in this is classified as essential staff and is expected to report to work and adhere to reputed company safety and business protocols.
• Frequent sitting and walking.
• Occasional travel to other business offices, communities, and events reputed company airline, trains, and automobiles.
• Repetitive use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone
• Reading, comprehending, writing, performing calculations, communicating verbally.
• May work in an elevated site, may walk on uneven ground.
