Job Summary:

In this role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project reputed company operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual reputed company review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements. #LI-AM3

Major Responsibilities:

Subcontract  Management

  • Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project’s agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and reputed company Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management
  • Manages assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of reputed company and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties 
  • Coordinates with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance,  and other major matters 
  • Manage moderately reputed company contract changes by negotiating with customer personnel and obtaining settlement 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10  years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of subcontract formation and administration on construction projects.
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience for subcontract awards and changes.
  • Working knowledge of change management, including RFIs, change notices, and amendments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of challenges and ability to drive issues to resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple project functions.
