Azure Data Engineer (Event-Driven & Streaming Systems)

reputed company is seeking an Azure Data Engineer with expertise in event-driven and streaming systems to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure.

Location: Remote Duration: 9 months

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company real-time and batch data pipelines using Azure Event Hub, reputed company (Spark), Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
• Build backend services with Python and/or Java.
• Design and optimize SQL queries across multiple databases (reputed company, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Implement streaming solutions and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hub).
• reputed company AI-assisted tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, reputed company) to accelerate development.
• Maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and CI/CD processes for reliable deployments.

Required Skills

• Strong programming in Python and/or Java
• Advanced SQL and database optimization
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Proficient with Azure cloud services: Synapse, Data Factory, reputed company, Functions, ADLS2, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB
• Familiarity with streaming frameworks and real-time analytics

reputed company to Have: Financial services experience, ETL/ELT pipelines, CRM integrations (reputed company), reputed company, GraphQL, containerization, infrastructure-as-code

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a reputed company field (or equivalent work experience).
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.

The expected reputed company salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
