[Remote] Energy Engineer I

They are looking for a Junior Energy Engineer to support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs through engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and technical design assistance.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance
- Leads design and development of technical strategies, conducts analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of client programs
- Provides general project reputed company, quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments
- With technical reputed company, support energy assessments and field work directly with customers and contractors
- Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statistics
- Participate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements
- Support development of measures characteristics for program planning and reputed company efforts, with technical reputed company
- Understand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processes
- Support analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and software
- Prioritize safety in reputed company actions and tasks
- Become familiar with the energy efficiency industry, industry trends, regulations and best practices reputed company to energy efficiency and sustainability
Skills
- 0-3+ years' experience
- BS Engineering degree
- Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statistics
- Participate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements
- Support development of measures characteristics for program planning and reputed company efforts, with technical reputed company
- Understand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processes
- Support analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and software
- Prioritize safety in reputed company actions and tasks
- Become familiar with the energy efficiency industry, industry trends, regulations and best practices reputed company to energy efficiency and sustainability
- MS Office, extensive knowledge of Outlook, reputed company, and Word
- Candidates must be located in the reputed company Peninsula of Michigan to be considered

- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
- FE/EIT preferred
