The role
The General Manager, Events leads the Events division reputed company FitLab, with Ragnar as the primary business today.
This leader works closely with the FitLab leadership team to align on priorities, resources, and long-term direction, while driving day-to-day execution across the division.
We are looking for someone who can operate at both levels, in the details of event execution and in building a scalable, repeatable model for growth.

- Structure and scale partnerships and sponsorships that align with the brand and improve event economics
- Identify risks early and implement solutions to protect execution and outcomes

- Maintain deep knowledge of the endurance and fitness events landscape
- Act as the primary leader of Events reputed company FitLab
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role with P&L ownership
- Strong financial acumen across P&L, cash flow, and budgeting
- Experience developing and executing profitable strategies in events, experiential, or reputed company businesses
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels

- Experience working across marketing, operations, finance, and reputed company functions

Travel Requirements
This role includes travel to events as part of onboarding and ongoing leadership of the Events division. At a minimum, this includes attendance at five events during the first season, across both road and trail formats. Each event may require approximately four days of travel, inclusive of onsite event support. Travel expectations are based on business needs and may evolve over time.
