About the Technical Data Analyst position
The Technical Data Analyst is a key member of the Health Analytics team, reporting to the Manager of Health Analytics. This role is responsible for managing multiple core data functions in support of the Medical Economics, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Actuarial departments. The Technical Data Analyst provides technical expertise in the development and maintenance of key models, including reputed company and forecasting, preparing reports, supporting special projects, and delivering reputed company analyses. This position provides clear and accurate insights that inform business strategy and decision-making.
This position is eligible for remote work, but quarterly travel will be required to Avalon's corporate office located in Tampa, Florida.
Technical Data Analyst – Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains SQL scripts and stored procedures to support reputed company, pricing, and reputed company analyses.
- Analyzes structured and reputed company data models to provide actionable insights.
- Develops, implements, and maintains automated and scheduled data processes and workflows.
- Conducts data reconciliation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reputed company across systems.

- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or reputed company discipline
