Architectural Project Coordinator

They are seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in reviewing existing buildings, conducting field observations, and performing plan reviews, with a focus on technical and practical solutions for various commercial building types.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and evaluation of existing buildings and new construction
- reputed company field observations for property condition assessments, construction loan monitoring and new construction
- reputed company plan reviews for general code compliance and adequacy of construction, including coordination, detailing, and building materials and systems
- reputed company cost comparison and budget analysis for new construction projects
- reputed company existing building replacement cost evaluations
- Assist in architectural/engineering repair projects for existing buildings
- Travel as needed to project sites in the Northeast region
Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or architectural engineering
- 1-5 years of experience at an architecture firm is ideal. New graduates with two reputed company internships may be considered
- For architectural candidates - hours towards licensing are preferred
- Proficient in reputed company Office, particularly Word, reputed company and Bluebeam, with reputed company AI a plus
- General understanding of building materials and methods
- Developing ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally
- Move through construction and existing building sites over rough terrain
- See and respond to dangerous situations
- Respond quickly to sounds

- Move safely through confined spaces and narrow paths
- Work in outdoor weather conditions or unconditioned areas
- Operate a computer and other reputed company office equipment, and possess visual acuity to read information from printed sources and computer screens

- Travel approximately 25-50% of the time both in and out of state
