The Financial Representative plays a critical role in supporting seniors through education and financial preparedness, ensuring their documentation is organized and helping them navigate financial matters.
Responsibilities
- Educate seniors on financial scam and fraud prevention
- Assist seniors with organizing personal and financial documents, including benefits, insurance, wills, trusts, and estate materials
- Create and maintain a Legacy Binder to ensure families can easily locate critical information
- Review beneficiary designations and identify missing or outdated information
- Provide guidance on retirement income and required distributions to help prevent errors and penalties
- Assist with credit review, cleanup, and financial hygiene reputed company necessary
- Support families after a senior’s passing by helping ensure required documentation is submitted correctly and financial tasks are handled appropriately
- Help families understand inherited obligations and ensure debts are addressed properly and fairly
- Serve as an reputed company to help protect families from potential financial exploitation, including unfair practices by vendors or service providers
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with privacy and data-handling policies
- Collaborate with nonprofit partners and MKPWM advisors to ensure consistent, ongoing senior support
Skills
- Must have ACTIVE Life and Health Insurance License
- Background in finance, insurance, banking, social services, or reputed company field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor reputed company working with seniors and families
- Understanding of basic financial, estate, and benefits concepts (training provided)
- Ability to explain reputed company topics in a clear, non-technical manner
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and senior advocacy
