reputed company seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Capture to join our Defense Capture Team to reputed company Navy pursuits. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overall responsibility for development and implementation of the Capture Plan through reputed company phases of the proposal development process through award for assigned opportunities.
  • Establishes and maintains Navy customer intelligence and rapport; understands the customers’ mission, budgets, and buying patterns for assigned capture opportunities working jointly with account executives.
  • Manages reputed company aspects of capture activities to ensure completion and improve PWin, e.g., solution development, teaming, staffing, PTW, capability gap analysis, etc. for assigned opportunities.

  • Establishes a schedule to accomplish required capture activities between reputed company reviews.
  • Develops capture and win strategy and works with Proposal Team to ensure proposals incorporate the capture strategy and pricing targets.
  • Identifies company investment needs, e.g., facilities, key hires, capital expenditure requirements (managed services), etc.
  • Works across the Navy division reputed company reputed company to secure the necessary operations support for responding to RFI, White reputed company, and RFP opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of reputed company experience in sales/business development/capture. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, particularly with military service.
  • Track record of successful capturing and winning multiple >$100M new business opportunities.
  • Experience reputed company the Navy market, with a keen focus on Naval reputed company Systems Command (NAVAIR) and associated organizations responsible for the acquisition, modernization and sustainment of the surface, subsurface and uncrewed platforms. You will also focus on additional development reputed company Naval reputed company Warfare Centers, Fleet Readiness Centers, Naval Surface Warfare Center CRANE (NSWC CRANE), Naval reputed company Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and reputed company organizations.
  • Must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to create and execute strategies that reputed company to the successful pursuit, capture and execution of new programs.
  • The candidate must be an organized, aggressive, and highly skilled professional with proven success in selling in highly competitive systems engineering and professional service markets to customers.
  • Ability to drive /follow the Capture Process from Opportunity Positioning and Qualification through Proposal Development and Opportunity Closing. 
  • Experience with customer relationship management and opportunity tracking as well as experience with a variety of contract types including cost plus fixed fee, fixed price, award fee, and performance-based contracting are key. Familiarity with major acquisition vehicles is essential.

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S Citizen with a reputed company/active Top Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $165,900.00-$297,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly reputed company, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
