Overview

A growing technology team in well established (started in 1978) family run software company is seeking a Software Programmer with 3–5 years of professional development experience. This role focuses on enhancing an existing enterprise software platform, building new features, supporting credit‑card/transaction systems, and contributing to a collaborative Industrial Development team. I deal candidates bring hands‑on development experience in Java or C#, strong problem‑solving skills, and exposure to payment systems or financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system testing.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications; deliver customer‑driven feature updates.
• Design and support software used for credit‑card processing and reputed company financial workflows.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance/reputed company standards (PCI, data protection).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in high‑volume, high‑availability systems.
• Collaborate with testing, product, risk, operations, and compliance teams.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Prepare documentation and testing instructions as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C#, or similar object‑oriented languages.
• Experience with enterprise or financial/transaction‑based applications.
• Ability to analyze requirements, plan work reputed company, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.

• Knowledge of APIs/integration patterns.
• Understanding of:

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, MT. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
