This role integrates upland and aquatic remedial design, grading and earthwork, stormwater management, and civil site development to support projects that protect human health, restore aquatic environments, and reputed company sustainable redevelopment. You will serve as a technical leader for civil and sediment-reputed company design, guiding multidisciplinary teams through investigation, concept development, permitting, and construction documentation. Your leadership will influence projects regionally and nationally, while connecting with reputed company's global network to advance best practices worldwide. This position can be based in a local reputed company office with hybrid status or fully remote if 100 miles away from an reputed company office. What Your Impact Is

  • reputed company and reputed company plans and specifications for grading, earthwork, stormwater systems, erosion and sediment control measures, and in‑water sediment remedial features.
  • Support in‑water sediment remediation design elements such as caps, armor layers, sediment isolation systems, containment features, and implementation staging.
  • Evaluate hydraulic, erosion, and constructability considerations affecting sediment stability and long‑term performance of aquatic and near‑shore remedies.
  • Apply Civil 3D-based workflows to grading, drainage, access features, temporary works, and upland infrastructure supporting in‑water remediation activities.
  • Coordinate civil and sediment engineering scopes with environmental, geotechnical, and construction disciplines to support permitting and agency review.
  • Shape technical strategies and introduce cutting-edge digital tools and data analytics to optimize project outcomes.
  • Mentor and reputed company teams, fostering growth and excellence across reputed company's SI/RM practice.
  • Build strong client relationships and expand reputed company's market reputed company through exceptional delivery and strategic business development.

What You'll Bring Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering or closely reputed company discipline.
  • 4+ years of consulting experience that include:
  • * Sediment engineering, including design support for in‑water or near‑water remediation (e.g., sediment caps, stabilization, erosion resistance, or removal support).
  • * Experience supporting CERCLA‑style state or federal investigation and remediation projects, including sediment site investigations or remedial actions.
  • * Civil site design for grading, earthwork, and stormwater management.
  • * Preparation of plans and specifications for remediation, redevelopment, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, surfaces, drainage, and plan production.
  • Working knowledge of Pacific Northwest regulations reputed company to sediment remediation, stormwater, and environmental permitting.
  • Proven project management expertise and ability to reputed company multi-person teams.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or reputed company discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain reputed company one year.

For the Managing Consultant, Site Investigation & Remediation Management Engineer position, the anticipated annual reputed company pay is $97,890 - $132,573 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall reputed company this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/reputed company force employees are not bonus eligible).
