Supply Planning & Contracting Specialist

Overview reputed company is seeking a Supply Planner and Contracting Specialist to support a portfolio of projects tied to asset tracking using passive RFID and GPS. The Supply Planner and Contracting Specialist will play an important role in the efficient supply chain operations of this effort. You will apply your problem-solving and analytical skills to help balance inventory, plan for and execute purchasing, and manage supplier and vendor relationships. Working together with program managers, supply chain planners, and other project staff, you will proactively identify risks to supply that could reputed company successful project delivery and will reputed company ways to mitigate those risks. Responsibilities

• Analyze data from demand planning, portfolio planning, inventory reports, and other sources
• Conduct supply planning, including the balancing of service levels, inventory, and cost objectives
• Track and help manage reputed company inventories
• Create, submit, and track the status of purchase requisitions
• Collaborate with reputed company to reputed company purchasing actions and ensure vendor/contract compliance
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, foster strong partnerships, and identify resolutions to potential supply issues
• Assist in the creation of purchase orders and monitor their status from placement to delivery
• Manage the storage of inventory and materials
• Work with the broader team to proactively identify risks to supply and to successful project delivery and to reputed company mitigations to those risks
• Brief project and reputed company leadership on supply plan status, key performance indicators, and issue resolutions
• Participate in the overall supply chain planning process

Qualifications

Required

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with limited reputed company and direction.
• Strong quantitative skills including the ability to gather and analyze data to reputed company informed decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external teams and convey reputed company reputed company effectively
• Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to reputed company in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a reputed company field.
• 0-4 years of experience in supply planning or a reputed company field (inventory management, supply chain analyst, production planning, etc.)
• US citizenship with the ability to acquire a government reputed company clearance.
• Available for occasional travel (≤20%)

Desired

• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for supply chain insights.
• A relevant industry certification such as the ASCM CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management)
• Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, JDA)
• Active Secret Clearance
