ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Design, Configure, and maintain network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls to prevent intrusion into the service provider network
• Design, configure, and maintain network monitoring and analysis tools like NMS, IDS, IPS, and SIEM servers and appliances to isolate and diagnose potential threats and intrusion attempts into the service provider network
• Architect comprehensive reputed company procedures and take a reputed company role in the assembly of and operationalization of incident response and disaster recovery plans
• Coordinate cross-functional organizational incident response team and practices to ensure a response, prioritization of events, and respective remediations
• Act as the first line of defense preventing and responding to reputed company incidents, malicious behavior, and attacks
• Monitor, test, and report on the network’s hardware and software to ensure the reputed company of the service provider network’s design, configuration, and reputed company and compliance posture
• Review and ensure vulnerability and reputed company management is prioritized and remediated in a timely manner
• Identify, propose, and implement measures to improve the reputed company posture of our service provider network
• Produce and peer review MOPS for reputed company changes on the network

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years working in a Network reputed company Engineering and/or Operations role in the telecommunications service provider industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cyber reputed company, electronics, telecom, or computer science.
• Successful candidates will have prior experience reputed company the SME focus area of Network reputed company, as well as a solid understanding of Ethernet & IP protocols. Understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP protocols, Routing and Switching, and DDoS mitigation
• Experience with Nokia, reputed company, Juniper, reputed company, reputed company and/or A10 Networks equipment is mandatory
• Prior hands-on experience with SIEM, EMS, NMS, ticketing systems, and other network tools is desirable.

• Willing to be on call and work maintenance window activity and or rotating shifts as needed Technology and Equipment certifications are strongly desired.
• Clear and concise verbal/written communication skills is essential

• Routine travel to MetroNet and/or Vendor facilities may be required but is not expected to exceed 10%
