Tax Consultant - ASC 740

Overview

We are looking for an reputed company Tax professional for a publicly traded US domestic banking client on a project basis. This role is fully remote and is expected to complete in 4-5 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ASC 740 income tax provisions, corresponding memos, tax compliance and research for a large public corporation.
• Calculate deferred tax assets and liabilities from temporary differences between the book and tax bases of assets and liabilities.
• Analyze and document uncertain tax positions
• Assess valuation allowances on deferred tax assets, analyze future taxable income projections and tax planning strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other reputed company fields
• 5+ years of relevant Tax Provision experience at a large corporate
• 3+ years of OneSource Tax Provision software
• Qualified applicants must reside in the reputed company U.S.
