Flutter Engineer

As a Contract Flutter Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a team of designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to build cross-platform mobile experiences. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, Agile team that delivers seamless, native-quality experiences across both iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.
• Elevate product quality through advanced Flutter capabilities, including sophisticated state management with Provider or Bloc, and implement engaging animations with Rive and Lottie.
• Ship production-ready features with precision by writing efficient, testable code within CI/CD pipelines while upholding high standards for performance and user experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions using patterns like MVC and MVVM to ensure our mobile solutions are scalable, maintainable, and future-ready.
• Your work will directly impact how users engage with our clients’ brands, creating mobile experiences that are technically robust and delightfully intuitive.

What you will achieve:

• Within your first month, you’ll have shipped a significant feature that demonstrates your Flutter expertise and immediately contributes to the product’s value.
• By the 3-month mark, you’ll have introduced a technical improvement or architectural pattern that enhances the codebase’s performance, maintainability, or developer experience.
• Your expertise will elevate the team’s capabilities, whether through code reviews that raise quality standards or by sharing knowledge about emerging Flutter tools and techniques.
• You will have tackled a complex technical challenge related to performance, animation, or cross-platform compatibility, delivering a solution that sets a new benchmark for quality.
• By the end of your contract, you’ll leave behind a legacy of robust, well-architected code and mobile experiences that users love – with an open invitation for future collaborations.

About you:

• You have 3-5 years of experience shipping quality Flutter applications, with deep expertise in Dart, state management, dependency injection, and the complete mobile development lifecycle.
• You’re comfortable working with both iOS and Android codebases and can write native implementations when necessary to enable smooth integration with Flutter and deliver native-quality experiences.
• You are well-versed in architectures and patterns, comfortably implementing MVC, MVVM, and Provider while understanding Flutter widgets, Flavors, and state management techniques.
• Your computer science foundation is solid, with practical knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading that informs your technical decisions.
• You thrive in Agile environments, with proven experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing frameworks as part of a distributed, multidisciplinary team.
