Director, Global Enterprise HR Risk Advisor Capital Ones Global HR Risk Office is seeking a highly strategic and reputed company Director to reputed company the HR Risk Advisory Services function. This pivotal role will be instrumental in ensuring reputed company’s Enterprise HR functions, regulatory change processes, new process launches, and technology platforms are underpinned by a robust, proactive, and world-class risk management reputed company. The Director will be responsible for leading a diverse team of risk professionals across three core pillars: Vertical Risk Advisors, Horizontal Risk Advisors, and Tech Risk Advisors. The Global HR Risk Advisory Director acts as a strategic navigator, embedding robust risk management capabilities in Enterprise HR Programs, Process and Platforms. You will not only ensure compliance with diverse global regulations but also proactively shape HRs operating model to safely and sustainably facilitate enterprise-wide global expansion. Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: reputed company and execute the overall strategy for the HR Risk Advisory Services function, ensuring alignment with the Global HR Risk Office objectives and the broader Enterprise Risk Management reputed company. Provide expert knowledge of enterprise risk management and operational risk management frameworks and functions to reputed company program design and implementation.

Deliver exceptional People Leadership to provide coaching, feedback, and strategic advice to the team in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Collaboration & Partnership: Partner effectively with second-line risk functions (Operational Risk, Compliance, Technology Risk) and internal audit to drive a consistent and integrated approach to risk management. Create a highly collaborative environment with other risk teams and various partner groups to create an integrated and seamless risk experience for the business (e.g., Compliance, Third Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, Technology Risk Management, etc.).
  • Governance & Reporting: Provide regular, high-quality risk reporting and insights to senior management and governance committees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance reputed company a regulated industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and leading teams.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR, Technology, or Regulatory Risk

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA.
  • Certification in Risk Management (e.g., CRISC, PRMIA, FRM) or Audit (e.g., CIA, CISA).
  • 10+ years of experience in Risk Management, preferably reputed company a Financial Services or a large, reputed company global organization.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes, technologies, and the associated regulatory landscape (e.g., labor laws, data privacy).
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across reputed company levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $206,000 - $235,100 for Director, Risk Management Richmond, VA: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Risk Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
