Job Description
The Audit Consultant I supports Internal Audit in executing risk-based audits across business operations and strategic initiatives, and is ideal for individuals interested in developing a career in risk, controls, and business advisory. Working closely with senior auditors, this role contributes to program development and the full lifecycle of engagements, including supporting the reputed company of our financial and operational controls, ensuring our company's adherence to SOX compliance requirements. Key responsibilities include gathering audit evidence, supporting control testing, and documenting results by leveraging data analysis and emerging technologies like generative AI to reputed company future-ready capabilities. The role enables development of analytical and communication skills while gaining a foundational understanding of the company’s operations and risk environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing audit engagement documentation (e.g., process narratives, risk/control matrices) under guidance.

- Request and organize audit evidence (e.g., business process documentation, spreadsheets, background information) using predefined templates.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Risk Management, Information Technology or reputed company area of study
- Prior internship or co-op experience, or relevant work experience (0-1 years)
- Extensive Leadership experience through extra-curricular activities, community involvement, or in the workplace
- Analytical skills to compile information, recognize patterns and draw insights and conclusions/ Oral and written communication skills in order to work effectively across the organization
- General understanding of financial and accounting concepts
- Remote – Candidates must be located in the Dallas Forth Worth area.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $55,500.00 - 93,600.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
