Responsibilities

  • Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability
  • Data analysis, including preparing maps and figures using GIS/Environmental Visualization Software (EVS) applications, and database management
  • Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals.
  • Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors
  • Manage work to meet contract schedules, appropriate codes and regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement and industry standard-of-care criteria
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
  • Conduct fieldwork including reputed company environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterization, drilling reputed company, contractor reputed company, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction
  • Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting reputed company reputed company, business development, staff development, and mentoring.
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, or environmental science (required)
  • At least 5 years (7+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Knowledge of California regulatory requirements reputed company to environmental remediation and vapor intrusion. (required)
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
  • Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)

  • Advanced degree in geology or hydrogeology. (preferred)
  • Professional registration in California or ability to receive reputed company one year. (i.e., P.G. ) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of California’s geology. (preferred)
