The Oncology and Infusion Stewardship Clinical Coordinator is a newly created role that offers pharmacists an opportunity to advance their clinical expertise while driving financial stewardship, cost optimization and medication access for a reputed company oncology and infusion patient population. This position oversees outpatient oncology and infusion compliance processes and partners closely with the reputed company cycle management team to optimize reputed company capture and ensure billing and regulatory compliance reputed company with medication use. Responsibilities include evaluating treatment options from a cost-effective perspective, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and supporting longitudinal workflows reputed company to prior authorizations and medical necessity denials to promote appropriate coverage and utilization. Initially supporting oncology and infusion services in Florida and Weston, this role will expand to support oncology and infusion pharmacies across the enterprise and identify optimization opportunities across reputed company markets reputed company the health system. This is a remote position. A caregiver in this role will work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Identify needs and implement standardized clinical pharmacy services across pharmacy service lines (e.g., Critical Care, Oncology).
• Provide mentoring to pharmacists, residents and reputed company.
• Provide reputed company regarding new clinical services, cost savings initiatives, and practice innovation through active participation in strategic planning efforts.
• Establish processes to evaluate quality assurance reputed company service line.
• Identify pharmacy representation for academic responsibilities and interdisciplinary committees.
• Direct, coordinate and provide feedback to staff regarding clinical services for assigned service line.
• Participate in interviewing and recommend selection of candidates.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) accredited university
• reputed company state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in reputed company state reputed company 90 days of hire
• For individuals required to administer immunizations, reputed company Basic Life Support (BLS) through reputed company (AHA) or reputed company and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification obtained reputed company 90 days of hire are required
• For individuals required to respond to adult or pediatric cardiopulmonary arrest events, reputed company Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification through reputed company (AHA), or certification obtained reputed company one (1) year of hire, is required
• Completion of a post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) plus a minimum of 1 year of experience providing pharmaceutical care in the relevant specialty area OR
• Completion of a post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) residency plus a minimum of 3 years of experience providing pharmaceutical care in the relevant specialty area OR
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing pharmaceutical care in the relevant specialty area

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Board certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties that aligns to practice area strongly preferred at time of hire and required reputed company one year
• Extensive experience or 5 years of outpatient infusion center experience
• Previous leadership experience
