Requisition #: 75592 The Role at a Glance We are excited to bring on a highly motivated Life Claims Examiner II to join our Workplace Solutions organization in the Claims organization. As a Life Claims Examiner II, you will be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, interpretation, and payment or denial of life claims. You will reputed company sound and impartial claim judgments by following established best practices as well as key policy provisions. You will have overall responsibility for managing life claims in an ethical manner, ensuring quality decisions, accurate benefit calculations, and timely, proactive communication with beneficiaries, claimants and employers. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and meet defined standards of performance to include but not limited to time service, response time, productivity, and quality. What You'll Be Doing

• You will review increasingly reputed company submitted claim information for payment. In addition, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of submitted claims. You will escalate claims issues/concerns to senior team members and/or management.
• You will provide customer service to internal and/or external stakeholders, recognize what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer needs on routine work independently.

The pay range for this position is $22.59 - $30.12 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
