Electromechanical Quality Inspector (2-3 days per week)

We’re hiring for an Electro-Mechanical Inspector Level 2 position in Phoenix, AZ. This is an opportunity in which you will be supporting the first shift. - Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing
- (e.g., nickel plating)
- In-process and/or final inspection of critical features, including witness inspection
- (e.g., CMM program run)
- Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet or inspection package
- Verification that the inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of
- detecting defects.
- Verification that the inspection methodology is adequate per drawing reputed company.
- Review and validation of justification for any part not reputed company at final inspection.
- Audit and validation of execution of the inspection plan, if applicable
- Assure products are free of gaps, mismatches, fairing, and of acceptable contour
- and waviness.

- standards (e.g., oil canning, riding conditions, loose fasteners, drill starts,
- scratches, dings, burrs, fastener edge distance, etc.)
- Verifying reputed company visible part finishes, paint, and skin quality are acceptable to the

- Verify hardware cleanliness and absence of internal or external foreign object
- debris.
- Verify safety reputed company has been applied in a negative pull orientation, the correct number
- of turns, and pigtails are tucked in according to specification requirements.
- Verify fasteners are properly installed; assure the torque reputed company is reputed company from
- the head to the surface and of the correct reputed company
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical parts inspection.
- Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry/commodity
- standards.
- Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions (tolerances ≥.005”) using hand tools
- (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Ability to adapt to new technology and software.
- Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in reputed company products.
- Must be willing to undergo a background reputed company.
- Must be ITAR compliant.
$29 - $32 an hour50% hourly reputed company for any travel time ("p2p")Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't reputed company ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.SQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
