BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a detail-oriented Veterinary Assistant for their busy Internal Medicine department. The role involves assisting in medical procedures, educating clients, and providing exceptional care for patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Calmly and gently approach and handle our patients according to safety protocols and our core values
- Identify abnormal pathology
- Understand our hospital estimates and can clearly present and explain them to our clients
- Have patience and empathy to address client concerns
- Educate clients in the areas of Internal Medicine and can provide exceptional care for our patients
- Prepare medications and our patients/clients for discharge with concise directions for our clients
- Support your Internal Medicine team in all aspects of care for your patients
