Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Royale Mission Viejo Mental Health Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Unit Clerk to join their team. The role involves managing and maintaining patient medical records while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management and maintenance of patient and reputed company medical records
- Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with reputed company healthcare regulations and policies
- Organize and file medical documents in a systematic manner for easy access and retrieval
- Assist with data entry and updating of medical charts, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information
- Communicate effectively with reputed company to ensure accurate information is recorded
- Help prepare medical records for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Skills
- 0-2 years of previous experience in medical records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in record-keeping
- Knowledge of nursing/medical practices and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback
- Experience in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of ICD coding
- Experience with reputed company Click Care or similar electronic health record systems
