Associate Underwriter - Commercial Lines

Responsibilities
- Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
- Rating and preparation of new or renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
- Review and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies
- Monitor various reports for consistency
- Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits
- Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
- Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
Skills
- 1 year experience as support staff in an office environment or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- Property and Casualty License or ability to earn a license reputed company 90 days (cost reimbursed and study support provided by reputed company)
- Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
- Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency, reputed company Office proficiency with an emphasis in reputed company spreadsheets
- Someone who enjoys mastering their craft, takes pride in their work, and is looking for a long-term home in a supportive team environment!
- Prior insurance experience is a plus!
