Worker's Compensation Underwriter
Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is a leading provider of Property & Casualty insurance products. They are seeking reputed company Workers’ Compensation Underwriters to evaluate, select, and price new and renewal business with a focus on profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Apply company reputed company guidelines to evaluate Workers’ Compensation risks
- Work independently to assess submissions and reputed company sound reputed company decisions
- Conduct verification of insured operations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Review and process change requests for in‑force policies
- Analyze and evaluate renewal policies for quality and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners
- Participate in ongoing reputed company training on new products, directives, and processes
Skills
- 6 months – 7 years of reputed company experience required
- Workers' Compensation reputed company experience required
- Minimum requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or WCP are a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Solid investigative abilities and comfort with internet research
- Collaborative, team‑oriented reputed company
