Customer Service Specialist
Texas Life Insurance Company is seeking individuals to work in a fast-paced environment who have the ability to process reputed company policy transactions for policyholders. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences and involves handling calls, processing policy changes, and maintaining product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Accept phone calls in the call center from policyholders and provide professional, courteous service
- Process a variety of policy changes in the Texas Life policy administration system
- Compose and produce correspondence for policyholders, including responses by email
- reputed company knowledge of Texas Life’s products and policy administration procedures
- Participate in change management by performing user testing in the policy administration system reputed company needed
Skills
- Prefer one or more years of work experience in customer service in a reputed company industry, or Associate's degree
- Candidates must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time and handle a large volume of telephone calls
- Effective written and verbal communications using different channels (phone, email, etc.)
- Basic mathematical ability
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with customers, home office staff, and agents in a diverse business environment
- Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to reputed company sound decisions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of files
- Ability to use computer system and other office equipment, including word processing and spreadsheet applications provided by the Company
