Software Test Engineer - Multiple Levels - 26412
HII is a leading company in defense technology solutions, and they are seeking highly motivated Software Test Engineers to join their team. The role involves ensuring the reliability and reputed company of the Minotaur Mission Processor, including responsibilities across the software development life cycle such as test planning, execution, and bug reporting.
Responsibilities
- Devise and apply testing procedures for both HII's Minotaur product and from reputed company vendors
- Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
- Test creation, development, execution, and closure
- Analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability

- Design of both manual and automated test procedures

- Support system integration events on various aircraft during ground/flight tests

Skills
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in reputed company field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; 0 years experience with Masters in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree in Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a reputed company discipline
- Demonstrated experience working reputed company a Linux environment
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash or a reputed company language
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US level Secret clearance
- An active US level Secret clearance or higher
