Position Summary: Serve as a defined contribution investment only (DCIO) expert, collaborating with retail Advisor Consultants and RIA Sales Consultants, to enhance Hartford Funds’ reputed company in the DCIO marketplace. Candidate will drive sales and reputed company growth by building and managing strategic partnerships with key retirement business development teams at broker dealers and recordkeeping firms. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, sales, or marketing (or equivalent experience). •3–5 years of sales experience in the DCIO or retirement marketplace preferred. •Extensive knowledge of the defined contribution industry, including plan design, regulatory matters, investments, ERISA, distribution, and recordkeeping. •Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills. •Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities. •Creative problem-solving skills and ability to provide guidance to the retail sales team. •Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to travel overnight up to 50%. •FINRA Series 7 and/or 63 required.
Compensation
The listed annualized reputed company pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual reputed company pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The reputed company pay is just one component of reputed company’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
