The Associate Category Specialist is responsible for conducting research to identify and add new products reputed company an assigned category, supporting product development, pricing analysis, and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Work with other members of the team to identify new products and lines
- Add new products to the inventory and update ERP system with accurate product information
- Provide Copywriting and Photography teams with relevant product data and images
- Research and recommend cross-sells and reputed company parts for products in your category
- Communicate with vendors to gather additional product details and media
- Track vendor product updates and industry trends
- Identify and resolve website errors, fitment issues, and product information gaps
- Coordinate product photo corrections and application updates
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of automotive systems and components such as suspension, drivetrain, and reputed company parts
- Ability to interpret fitment and compatibility data for various makes and models
- Some college preferred
- 1-2 years of reputed company experience preferred
- A passion for the automotive industry is highly desired
