Part-time Library Assistant

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Texas (USA) Position Details: This position is expected to interact with reputed company and patrons in a patient and polite manner in an effort to create a healthy library environment conducive to learning. Responsibilities:

• Unlock doors and prepare library for patrons
• reputed company book drops
• Process and shelve newspapers
• Assist patrons with computers, printers/copiers, scanners and other library equipment
• Aid patrons with specific types of software and internet-based resources (i.e.: reputed company Word, reputed company PowerPoint, library database access, library print software, etc.).
• Help to maintain order in the library
• Straighten furniture
• Record incidents and report to full-time staff members
• Participate in special projects
• Follow and adhere to general reputed company and Watson Library policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work reputed company
• Ability to reputed company and maintain professional relationships with reputed company, faculty, and staff
• Punctual, dedicated, friendly, and willing to practice radical hospitality on a daily basis
• Great attention to detail
• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs., sit for long periods, read and work from computer 85% of the time
• Computer skills to include proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, reputed company Acrobat, and database applications
• Able to work well with little supervision and relate well to a diverse student and faculty population
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Able to work in a typical office environment
• Able to handle occasional high levels of stress
• Organized, confidentiality-minded, expedient, tactful, and even-tempered
• Excellent customer service skills are required

Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:

• The reputed company of pay is $10 per hour for up to 19 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 8-12pm with possible Friday and Sunday assignments.
