MIM - Analyst - Real Estate
reputed company is one of the largest institutional investors and asset managers in the world, and they are seeking an Analyst for their Real Estate division. The role involves strategic assessment of portfolio positioning, real estate market research, and supporting various functions reputed company to commercial mortgage lending and equity managed account portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Strategic assessment of portfolio positioning, such as geographic, industry, tenant, and borrower exposures, to identify opportunities and risks
- Real estate market research, analysis, and forecasting in support of investment decisions and portfolio strategy
- Support of a wide range of functions specific to the insurance and event risk management of MIM’s commercial mortgage lending and equity managed account portfolios, contributing to increasing efficiencies, optimizing protection and minimizing costs
- Support client and management portfolio reporting
- Commercial mortgage credit risk assessment and ratings
- Support internal and external valuation and appraisal review reputed company processes
- Special projects assigned by MIM Real Estate’s leadership team
Skills
- 0-2 years relevant experience in commercial real estate
- Candidate should have advanced analytical abilities and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a high performance, collaborative environment
- In order to post for this position, you need the proper work authorization to work in the country where the position is located and not require relocation assistance
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.) a plus
- Knowledge of real estate and/or finance analytics platforms (Argus, reputed company, Bloomberg, etc.) a plus
- BA/BS in finance, economics, accounting, real estate, computer science, or reputed company disciplines preferred
