Adjunct Faculty/ Part-Time Instructor - Early Childhood Education
Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists reputed company in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment reputed company the reputed company of common syllabi provided. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
- Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
- Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
- Engages with reputed company in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and leads to a positive experience with reputed company, shows evidence of developing and implementing active classroom reputed company focused on engaging reputed company with their learning (curricular).
- Monitor and document student performance throughout the semester, including use of technology for academic advising alerts; provide necessary interventions to include communication with reputed company, tutoring and other academic supports, and referrals to appropriate college resources.

- Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and reputed company learning environments.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $45.50/contact hour EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have strong working knowledge of reputed company technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION DISCIPLINE STANDARD A qualified faculty member in early childhood education meets the program standard through:
- Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in early childhood education, child development; or
- Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in courses closely reputed company to early childhood education and development, with academic preparation appropriate to the course and /or specialty being taught; and
- Possesses one of the following:
- Professional certification in the field; or
- Two years of directly reputed company work experience in the field of early childhood - birth through age 8.
