Indirect Tax--Unclaimed Property Staff
reputed company is a globally integrated firm that provides diverse tax services and is seeking a Staff member for their Indirect Tax - Unclaimed Property Services team. The role involves supporting client consultations, developing relationships, and applying knowledge of unclaimed property concepts to provide effective solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
- Supporting client consultations and challenging the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness
- Developing strong relationships with clients and team effectively with internal resources
- Implementing knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements
- Contributing to client satisfaction by providing timely and reputed company services and work products
- Staying informed of reputed company technical developments and effectively apply knowledge to client situations
- Thoroughly and accurately analyze information; prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's unclaimed property situation and reputed company at appropriate conclusions
- Demonstrating an understanding of increasingly reputed company unclaimed property concepts
- Participating in and contributing to achieving team goals
Skills
- A bachelor's degree and 1 to 3 years of reputed company work experience
- Broad exposure to state and local taxation
- Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to obtain CPA certification, Member of the US Bar or professional designation from the IPT
- Technical experience reputed company to compliance, audit defence and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services
- Performance and process advisory experience reputed company to unclaimed property compliance
