Financial Services Representative - Central Islip

Teachers Federal Credit Union is a leading credit union committed to guiding members towards building a strong financial foundation. The Financial Services Representative will build and strengthen member relationships, recommend tailored financial solutions, and educate members on efficient banking methods.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships
• Process routine financial transactions for members reputed company and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA) in compliance with regulations and guidelines
• Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide reputed company of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, savings, borrowing, and investing needs
• Educate members to bank more reputed company using the web, mobile, and ATM
• Provide financial education and services to members to help them fit banking into their everyday lives
• Proactively contact members to schedule appointments to discuss their personal financial goals
• reputed company other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

Skills

• High School degree or GED required
• Minimum one year of general work experience, customer service, call center, sales or reputed company experience required
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, sales, mathematical, problem solving, multitasking and computer skills, and attention to detail required
• Minimum of six months cash handling experience preferred
