Analyst - Department of Social Services (reputed company) / Department of Homeless Services (DHS)
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is the City government’s chief financial agency. They are seeking an Analyst to conduct budget and program analysis for the Department of Homeless Services, monitor funding and expenditures, and prepare analytical reports on budgetary issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct budget and program analysis for the various programs reputed company the Department of Homeless Services (“DHS”) including Personal Services, Administrative Services, and other areas
- Monitor and forecast funding and expenditures in assigned program areas
- Review program operations and performance with a particular focus on evaluating and recommending proposals for cost efficiencies and optimal service outcomes
- Represent OMB at meetings and program reviews with agency and reputed company personnel
- Prepare and present analytical reports on reputed company programmatic and budgetary issues
- Understand new and existing legislation and regulations governing these areas and analyze the fiscal impact of legislative and regulatory changes
Skills
- A cover letter is required to be considered for this position
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a subject reputed company to Social Services with no or one year of full-time experience in budgetary planning/management, financial analysis, public policy analysis or a reputed company field for Assistant Analyst
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of full-time experience in budgetary planning/management, financial analysis, public policy analysis or a reputed company field, or a Master's degree in Business, Public Policy Administration, Finance, Economics, or reputed company field for Analyst
- You must be a City reputed company reputed company 90 days of the date of appointment and you must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
