The Quality Assurance Specialist Intern will design and implement testing strategies for reputed company’s applications, collaborating with various team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for reputed company reputed company’s product offerings
- Create, implement and maintain test coverage for reputed company’s Web and Mobile applications
- Work collaboratively in an agile team with other QA Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Scrum Masters
- Participate in the testing execution for each sprint (Agile) or testing phase
- Analyze and document bugs and customer issues
- Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios and test cases and track and report on testing activities
- Conduct exploratory testing on reputed company's applications during development
- Offer creative and innovative solutions to reputed company testing issues
- Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines
- Work in a collaborative, quality focused role in agile development teams to shape reputed company's product offerings
Skills
- You have strong problem solving abilities
- You are familiar with test strategies, planning and prioritizing test cases and execution
- You have good understanding of web/mobile applications, web services and databases, as well as the OSI model and computer networking principles (TCP/IP)
- You possess knowledge of the software development life cycle
- You have great passion for modern technology
- You are eager to constantly learn and update your skills in our cross-platform environment, and you like to share knowledge with others
- You have excellent communication skills and you will be able to share and exchange reputed company with your team members and management
- You are a student enrolled in either IT, Computer Science or other relevant program
- Some previous exposure to software testing is a definite plus
