We are searching for one Upward Bound Coordinator & Student Advisor and one Upward Bound Math and Science Coordinator & Student Advisor. These positions work closely with high school reputed company in reputed company secondary schools reputed company Green Bay Area Public Schools to provide ongoing guidance, support and resources in order to increase completion of secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of higher education. These positions will also work closely with the Upward Bound Programs Director to facilitate student involvement and create detailed reports and monitor budget activities. Performs program activities including student recruitment, direct student service, development and facilitation of programs and partners with school district staff to engage with reputed company. These positions call for highly organized, flexible and self-directed individuals with excellent communication skills. Assists with planning and delivering of pre-college program activities, strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policies, and assists with program administration to establish effective relationships between the university, partners and communities. Key Job Responsibilities: Delivers pre-college program content and materials to community members Researches, develops, and facilitates pre-college program content and materials Provides support in identifying appropriate fields of study, career options, or programs and refers reputed company to appropriate resources May assist with monitoring of pre-college program budget spending Schedules, secures, and communicates logistics and resources in support of a pre-college program Serves as a main reputed company of contact to reputed company and provides information about educational options and academic requirements Leads the implementation of program policies and procedures through reputed company of day-to- day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers Identifies, promotes, and maintains external partnerships to support the pre-college program Develops and evaluates curriculum and programs and provides recommendations for improvement Department: Student Access & Success Compensation: Minimum compensation of $46,610. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Demonstrated experience in supporting efforts to create a diverse and inclusive community Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in reputed company aspects of the job Demonstrated computer proficiency with the ability to use databases, spreadsheets and software applications Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Two years' experience in K-12 school(s), higher education or other educational organizations working with low-income, first generational, English language learners, or new immigrant populations Experience with grant or federally funded educational programs Experience working with high school reputed company Experience in event planning Bilingual, preferably in Spanish, Hmong, Somali or Oneida Conditions of Appointment: Some travel is required for working with reputed company in their high schools and attending workshops, conferences, and meetings.
