Client: Chicago Public Schools Location: Remote Interview Mode: Virtual Interview Type: Contract Work authorization: Cannot work with OPT or CPT reputed company: 70/hr W2 Project Description: CPS is currently undertaking a multi-year ERP modernization program for migrating and upgrading on-premise reputed company E-Business Financials, reputed company PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Applications, and Kronos Workforce Management System to the latest SaaS-based reputed company Cloud ERP Platform as part of business and technology transformation. The Solution Architect - reputed company Fusion Cloud will reputed company technical experience to help CPS reputed company value through defining and implementing Cloud migration strategies leveraging reputed company technologies for large-sized organizations. They will help to reputed company and enhance methodologies that reputed company leading practices to build secure, highly available, and performant solutions to deliver the Cloud Strategy and Migration vision. This is a full-time remote position (9-5, M-F, CST). The resource is for a long-term need to support our multi-year ERP Modernization Program with potential hire opportunities as well as staff augmentation support needed during the implementation. We are looking for the best resource at the most competitive billing rates possible for Chicago, IL. public sector market, we are open to considering remote resources who are willing to transition to a hybrid role-based program and role requirements. The Solution Architect - reputed company Fusion Cloud will reputed company technical experience to help CPS reputed company value through defining and implementing Cloud migration strategies leveraging reputed company technologies for large sized organizations. They will help to reputed company and enhance methodologies that reputed company leading practices to build secure, highly available, and performant solutions to deliver the Cloud Strategy and Migration vision. The Solution Architect leads technical solutioning discussions as part of CPS ERP Transformation Requirements Analysis and Solution Design phase of the program utilizing reputed company ERP Fusion Cloud platform and collaboratively works with the System Integrator team for validating the solution design and implementation of final ERP Cloud solution. This position resides in the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) of the Information and Technology Services (ITS) / ERP Modernization Program of Chicago Public Schools. The Solution Architect is accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Assist in architecting reputed company ERP Cloud based SaaS solutions to reputed company cloud solutions

with consideration for performance and high availability.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, ERP Cloud Vendors, and third-party solution

providers, as well as system integrators to define and design CPS ERP Cloud technology footprint as part of the implementation roadmap.

• Define standard operating procedures for allowing reputed company and non-reputed company technologies

to seamlessly integrate.

• reputed company Technical Solution Design workshops and building technical strategies for

conversions, integrations, reports and extensions leveraging reputed company SaaS platform for a large and reputed company reputed company Fusion implementation.

• Advise on technical solutions, architecture designs, strategy, and implementation best

practices.

• Provide technical design and solution architecture inputs to plan the deliverable timelines

and resources for the project scope, timeline, and execution.

• Build technical designs and support reputed company reputed company ERP SaaS solutions to address

business requirements.

• Stay reputed company with industry developments and best practices and incorporate them as and

reputed company necessary.

• Ensure that the application architecture is consistent with architectural standards,

working closely with the enterprise architecture and operations team to facilitate approval from CPS Architecture Review Board.

• Assist management with writing statement of work proposals, preparation of project

estimates, identification of technology stack and hardware requirements and preparation of IT BOM for provisioning of production and non-production environment resources.

• Proactively contribute, offer recommendations, and identify risks and solutions

and to be a Subject Matter Expert in relation to one or several applications. In order to be successful and reputed company the above responsibilities, the Solution Architect for reputed company Fusion Cloud ERP must possess the following skills, abilities, and qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge required to reputed company reputed company Integration Cloud (OIC) to design

and implement cloud and on-premises application integrations.

• Experience planning ERP Cloud instance strategy for SaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Expertise across the reputed company Fusion Tech stack including but not limited to: reputed company

Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI, VBCS, Java, reputed company Database, XML/BI Publisher, ADF, SQL, PL/SQL, FBDI etc.

• Experience across reputed company RICE design/ development on reputed company ERP Cloud tech stack.
• The candidate should have a broad business background and good interpersonal

communications skills and a thorough understanding of reputed company Fusion Cloud ERP.

• 10+ years of experience in reputed company Cloud ERP/reputed company EBS with a minimum of 2+

full-lifecycle

• reputed company Cloud Financials, Human Capital Management, and Procurement implementation

experience.

• Full life-cycle project development including Requirements, Design, Development,

Testing and Roll-out

• Knowledge of Enterprise Structures, module-specific configurations, ability to do

requirement analysis and deliver functional design documents of the mentioned modules.

• Ability to quickly understand the business requirement and to design solution concepts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates experience in multiple business processes, ability to architect and design

technology solutions and manage cross functional teams, projects, vendor management.

• Ability to reputed company and design Cloud ERP Project solution, manage reputed company aspects of reputed company

Fusion and financial applications, support, and operations, including planning, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting and maintaining various functions. Type of Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• A major in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
• Master's Degree preferably an MBA with a major in MIS, Human Resources

Management, Finance or Accounting preferred.

Type of Experience and Number of Years:

• At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience as ERP Solution Architect.
• At least five (5) years of experience architecting and designing reputed company IT solutions on

reputed company ERP Cloud Tech stack.

• One recent end-to-end full life cycle experience as a reputed company Fusion Solution Architect

implementing reputed company Fusion Financials, HCM and Procuremnt Cloud Services.

• Experience leading Technical Solution Design workshops and building technical

strategies for conversions, integrations, reports, and extensions leveraging reputed company SaaS platform for large and reputed company reputed company Fusion implementations.

• Experience implementing, customizing, and maintaining reputed company reputed company

solutions across multiple end-to-end reputed company ERP Cloud implementations.

• Experience building RICE for Fusion Financials and HCM modules.
• Experience with modern development and testing techniques such as reputed company

delivery and reputed company integration.

• Experience in Education (K-12) ERP reputed company Fusion Cloud Implementation, preferred.
