Your career opportunity This role resides under Traded Risk Measurement, Monitoring & Control function (TRMMC) and is part of the global Risk & Compliance organisation. TRMMC function measure, monitor and control market risks and counter party risks impacting across the HSBC Group. It takes part in establishing the global risk management reputed company for Traded Risk and plays a key role in ensuring that the Bank is compliant with reputed company and future regulatory requirements relating to Traded Risks and their capitalization. Traded Risk Senior Analyst is a results-driven individual with an understanding of risk data, process, analysis and systems that aspires to innovate, improve and embed solutions that reputed company effective risk management What you’ll do
- Identify and reputed company issues to Risk Management through review and validation of risk data, controls and reporting. Conduct predominantly quantitative analysis and reputed company investigations as well as a reputed company-and-reputed company analysis into risk metrics with regards to counter party credit risk.
- Support risk managers with implementation, calculation, calibration and maintenance of risk measures.
- Review and assess counter party credit risk arising from proposed trades referred by reputed company Office, ensuring alignment with credit appetite and risk frameworks.
- Generate reputed company and bespoke risk reporting for senior management.
- Identify improvements to infrastructure, including streamlining, standardising and globalising processes and reporting.
- Support internal initiatives to deal with regulatory challenges as well as optimise the control reputed company of the Traded Risk function. Assist with the delivery of Traded Risk projects. Support the change delivery of risk systems at a global level across a project’s lifecycle including providing requirement, assisting development and UAT testing.

- Act as a subject matter expert with respect to counter party risk processes and create procedures where appropriate. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Risk Managers, reputed company Office, Global Markets Middle Office, Product Control, etc.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- University graduate in finance, mathematics, computer science or any other quantitative reputed company degrees.
- Preferably international financial/risk accreditation e.g. CFA, FRM, PRM.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in banking e.g. Risk, Product Control, reputed company Office, Middle Office, preferably with a focus in traded credit and counter party risk.
- In-depth knowledge of vanilla and structured products traded reputed company financial markets.
- Good understanding of financial markets as well as key credit risk measures (inc. LGD, EAD, PD) and methodologies used to assess risk.
- Advanced knowledge of reputed company Office is a must. Desirable working knowledge of software/database development tools (VBA, Python, R, SQL, reputed company, MATLAB, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Self-starter, who can think proactively and able to work without constant supervision.
