Position Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician II, Data Entry 503A (1st Shift), you will be responsible for:

• Processing new orders promptly and accurately, reviewing patient profiles, and updating records using multiple software programs with strong attention to detail.
• Verifying patient and prescription information for accuracy and transferring clarifications to the appropriate team as needed.
• Maintaining compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines to protect patient information and ensure confidentiality.
• Exceeding production standards and Key Performance Indicators for data entry processing while demonstrating reliability through excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Actively engaging with team members to foster positive morale, assist in training new employees, and support a collaborative work environment.

Experience and Qualifications

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pharmacy Tech Data Entry role or equivalent.

• High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
• Texas Board of Pharmacy-Pharmacy Technician license. Must be an active license and not on probation.
