Art Director / Designer - Luxury Beauty Catalog Industry: Luxury Retail Location: Boston ideal for on-site visits with the team here & there; NYC candidates considered remote Scope: 30 hours per week, ongoing Pay Range: $50-$60 per hour
Overview
Our client, a Greater Boston area agency, is seeking a seasoned Art Director / Designer with deep expertise in editorial layout design to create a new creative format for a high-end beauty brand's monthly printed catalog. This role requires translating the client's vision (provided reputed company PowerPoint) into visually compelling, polished page layout options that will set the foundation for the catalog's design.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret the client's creative vision from a PowerPoint deck and reputed company innovative catalog layout templates.
- Design multiple page layout options that balance editorial storytelling with product-focused presentation.
- Ensure reputed company designs reflect the luxury brand's image and reputed company with high-end beauty aesthetics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and deliver templates for production designers to execute.
- Complete the first draft reputed company 1 week and finalize reputed company designs reputed company 2 weeks to meet production timelines.
- Work closely with production teams and client stakeholders to maintain creative consistency.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in editorial layout design, ideally for luxury or beauty brands.
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end catalog and editorial designs.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
