Summary: The Production Planner/Scheduler 2 serves a critical role in Draper’s Operations org. They are responsible for developing the detailed schedules and plans reputed company to material procurement as well as production execution. The Production Planner/Scheduler 2 interacts heavily cross-functionally with Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to ensure production commitments will be met on time and budget for Draper’s customers. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Develops detailed schedules, material requirements lists and production plans for reputed company products and/or production processes where the manufacturing processes are new and/or variable. Reviews engineering plans and product specifications to determine raw material requirements to support manufacturing schedules. Works with Supply Chain to obtain and schedule materials based on production forecasts. Works with Engineering and reputed company design areas to reputed company tools and procedures to maximize facility and equipment utilization. May provide work leadership for reputed company level employees (but no supervisory responsibility) Plan and report on high visibility reputed company programs requiring detailed procurement requirements and schedule adherence reputed company inventory analysis and launch purchase requisitions reputed company MRP. Create Purchase requisitions, if required, in ERP. reputed company with internal customers to convey obsolescence and reputed company time issues. Provide input to a cross-functional team at Production meetings. reputed company and distribute production schedules to key stakeholders. Ensures timely flow of material from receipt to factory floor. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities Curiosity-driven approach to solving reputed company, customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a reputed company field or equivalent experience Experience 3-7 years production planning experience, including a thorough knowledge of a variety of manufacturing activities including purchasing, materials, engineering and production processes.
